If you used PayPal to purchase Asset CleanUp Pro and you wish for any reason to stop the automatic yearly charges, you can cancel the merchant’s profile that was set when you made the purchase.
You will need to first log in to your PayPal account and locate the “My preapproved payments” page. You can try to access it via the following URL: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_manage-paylist (of course, you need to be logged in first).
If you can’t access the URL, perhaps it’s not valid anymore. In this case, follow the steps below:
After you log in, go to “Account Settings” (URL: https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/account/accountAccess).
Then, locate “Money, banks and cards” and click on it (from the left side of the page as you can notice in the print screen below).
Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the “Automatic Payments” area. Click on the “Set Automatic Payments” link!
You’ve reached the “My preapproved payments” area. Look for the “Gabe Livan” merchant and “Asset CleanUp Pro” (if they are in the “Cancel” list, then the profile has been canceled already and you don’t have to do anything) within the “Active” list. Once you locate it, click on the “Gabe Livan” link, and then under the “Status” area, use the “Cancel” link. That’s it!
You’ve now stopped any recurring payment from Asset CleanUp Pro and if you want to renew the license, you have to do it manually from ‘Members’ — ‘License Update & Renewal’.
