If the Pro license expires, the plugin can be used just like before without any restrictions: all the features will function as expected. However, you will not be eligible for plugin updates & for customer support. That’s why renewing the license before it expires is recommended. Moreover, if you renew it on time, you will get an extra 15% off the license price.
For instance, let’s say you purchased a Pro license on August 20, 2020, for $42 (USD). If you renew it (usually automatically, but you can do it manually via any payment method you wish) on August 13, 2021 (in this example, one week before it expires), you will be eligible for a 30% discount, which is $29.40 (USD). If you decide to keep using the plugin while the license is expired and renew it (for instance) on October 1, 2021, then you will get a lower discount of 15%, and the price will be $35.70 (USD).
Plugin updates include:
- New Features (this also includes improvement of existing features)
- Bug Fixes (e.g. a feature is not working smoothly in a specific WordPress setup) and security threads (e.g. SQL injection attaacks)
- Priority Support (any questions about new features or existing ones, the plugin in general, are answered)
